For the past four years ASAP has been scaling up the capacity of 7 Community Based Organizations in the Eastern Cape, Kwa Zulu Natal and Qwa Qwa, as well as Nyanga and Khayelitsha townships outside Cape Town, South Africa. These are areas where lack of infrastructure, inefficient social services, poor living conditions, and rising unemployment rates result in the highest prevalence of HIV/AIDS and rapidly escalating numbers of orphans and vulnerable children.
